About Lionhive

Lionhive was founded in 2015 with a single conviction: mid-market organizations deserve the same caliber of technology leadership, security expertise, and operational IT capability that enterprise companies build entire departments around — without the enterprise overhead. What began as a business and technology advisory practice in Dallas, Texas has grown into a managed IT services and cybersecurity firm serving organizations across the United States, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific — with a delivery model built around the specific compliance environments, industry verticals, and operational demands of the clients we serve.

Our practice spans five interconnected disciplines: Technology & IT Services, Cybersecurity & Compliance, AI & Digital Transformation, Business Consulting & Advisory, and Revenue & Growth Operations. We work with financial services firms navigating SEC cybersecurity rules and NYDFS requirements, healthcare organizations preparing for HIPAA Security Rule changes, technology companies building SOC 2 Type II programs to win enterprise contracts, manufacturers implementing OT/IT integration across production environments, and professional services firms that have outgrown their current IT infrastructure and need a partner who understands what they do and what they’re responsible for protecting.

The organizations that work with Lionhive are not looking for a vendor. They are looking for a technology partner whose understanding of their industry, regulatory environment, and operational context is deep enough to make a genuine difference — not just in uptime metrics, but in the business outcomes that depend on technology working correctly.

We see ourselves as a forward looking group of passionate professionals with the relevant experience to match.

2015

Founded in Illinois

Lionhive incorporated in Illinois with a founding team whose backgrounds spanned enterprise IT, business consulting, financial services, and cybersecurity advisory. The founding thesis was straightforward: mid-market organizations across professional services, financial services, and healthcare were operating IT environments that no longer matched the complexity of their compliance obligations or the sophistication of the threats they faced. Lionhive was built to close that gap.

2016

First Client Engagements & Team Build-Out

Lionhive's first managed IT and advisory engagements established the delivery model that has defined the firm since: deep industry knowledge applied to technology problems, rather than generic IT services applied to any organization willing to sign a contract. Early engagements in financial services and professional services established the compliance-first approach to managed IT that distinguishes Lionhive's practice from commodity IT support providers.

2021

Cybersecurity Practice & International Expansion

Lionhive formalized its dedicated Cybersecurity & Compliance practice — expanding beyond managed IT into the NIST CSF, SOC 2, HIPAA, CMMC, and ISO 27001 compliance programs that mid-market organizations increasingly required as a condition of enterprise client relationships, regulatory examinations, and cyber insurance coverage. International coverage expanded into EMEA, establishing the Scotland and Ireland practices that now serve clients across the UK and European markets, and into the Asia-Pacific region with coverage across Australia's major commercial cities.

2025-2026

AI Integration, Geographic Growth & Full-Service Practice

Lionhive's current practice spans five service pillars across clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, continental Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. The addition of AI & Digital Transformation advisory, Revenue & Growth Operations, and the full cybersecurity sub-service portfolio — covering penetration testing, vulnerability management, dark web monitoring, zero trust architecture, and managed SOC — reflects a decade of deliberate capability building toward a single objective: being the technology partner that organizations at the critical growth stage cannot operate effectively without.

Industries and Capabilities

Manufacturing & Industrial

The convergence of operational technology — PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial IoT — with corporate IT networks creates the most consequential cybersecurity challenge in industrial environments. Lionhive designs ISA/IEC 62443-aligned OT/IT integration architectures, implements CMMC 2.0 compliance programs for defense industrial base suppliers, and provides the managed IT infrastructure that manufacturing organizations across the globe require.

Financial Services & Fintech

Banks, registered investment advisers, broker-dealers, insurance companies, and fintech platforms face a cybersecurity and compliance environment that is simultaneously the most demanding and the most actively enforced in the private sector. Lionhive provides NYDFS 23 NYCRR Part 500 compliance programs, SEC cybersecurity rule documentation, GLBA Safeguards Rule implementation, SOC 2 Type II readiness, and the managed IT infrastructure that financial services organizations need to satisfy both regulatory examiners and enterprise client vendor security requirements.

Healthcare & Life Sciences

HIPAA's Security Rule is being updated for the first time since 2003 — with finalization expected in 2026 and mandatory annual penetration testing, technology asset inventories, and encryption as a required specification among the changes. Lionhive provides HIPAA risk assessments, Security Rule compliance programs, Business Associate Agreement review, and the technical safeguard implementation that covered entities and business associates need to meet current OCR enforcement standards and prepare for the updated rule.

Technology & SaaS Companies

B2B technology companies lose enterprise deals when they cannot produce a SOC 2 Type II report on request. Lionhive builds the control environments, evidence infrastructure, and audit preparation programs that produce clean SOC 2 Type II opinions — and the ISO 27001, NIST CSF 2.0, and GDPR compliance programs that technology companies with international customer bases require alongside them.

Logistics, Distribution & Warehousing

Distribution centers, third-party logistics providers, and supply chain operators require warehouse-grade connectivity, WMS availability, and the PCI DSS-compliant payment infrastructure that logistics operations serving retail brands must maintain. Lionhive designs and manages IT infrastructure for logistics operations from Elk Grove Village's 62-million-square-foot industrial park to O'Hare-adjacent distribution centers and beyond.

Professional Services

Law firms, accounting practices, management consultancies, architecture firms, and executive search organizations manage confidential client information under professional ethics obligations that create specific technology governance requirements. Lionhive provides managed IT, Microsoft 365 governance, identity and access management, and the cybersecurity programs that protect privileged and confidential client relationships.

Our Mission

Lionhive exists to give mid-market organizations access to the technology leadership, security expertise, and compliance capability that has historically been available only to companies large enough to build dedicated internal teams around each discipline. The organizations we serve — typically 25 to 500 employees, operating in regulated industries, managing sensitive client or patient data, and facing compliance environments that have grown dramatically more demanding over the past decade — need more than a helpdesk. They need a technology partner who understands what they do, what they’re obligated to protect, and what the consequences of getting it wrong look like in their specific industry.

We measure our success by outcomes that matter to our clients: enterprise deals won because a SOC 2 Type II report was ready when the prospect asked for it; OCR audit examinations navigated without findings because the HIPAA risk analysis was documented and current; ransomware incidents that didn’t happen because dark web monitoring detected compromised credentials before they were used; manufacturing production lines that ran without interruption because OT/IT network segmentation contained a security event before it reached the production floor. These are not IT metrics. They are business outcomes. And they are what Lionhive is built to deliver.

  • Up to 50% reduction in unplanned downtime costs, by leveraging proactive monitoring and rapid incident response.

  • 20–30% lower total IT spend through rightsized cloud migrations, bulk licensing negotiations, and vendor-neutral procurement.

  • 40% faster project delivery, enabled by fractional specialists and agile implementation, shortening time-to-value on new initiatives.

  • 25% improvement in help-desk efficiency, with AI-driven ticket triage and 24×7 Service Desk support reducing average resolution times.

  • 60% fewer security incidents, thanks to continuous MDR, regular vulnerability assessments, and Zero Trust network segmentation.

  • 3:1 LTV:CAC ratio for IT engagements, as outcome-based pricing and transparent ROI dashboards align your spend with measurable business impact.
